i think my song is perty good but it needs to be longer at this point.
This is a beautiful piece that answers the question asked by the band Haddaway. "What is love?" The Piece This Is Love Perfectly explains the course of love. In the beginning, there is a lot of joy with the violins holding down a triplet beat. Then as you get into it more, the dark side of love reviles its self. This is represented by 16th notes on violin 1, and echoing notes on violin 2.
A Lullaby. When I listened to it the vibe was almost fairy or forest -ish.
I put random notes cause I don't listen to my teacher
This song has ups and downs throughout the scale using piano, violin, and bass.
When I had started to write this piece, I had NO idea where it was going. In the spring of 2023 I hat made another composition, planning for it to be for opus 38. When I came back to it, it was not my idea of what I had in mind.
A snowy quiet winter with the occasional gust of wind and crackle of a warm fire.
After last year's Opus, I wanted to write a waltz because all my other pieces were written in 4/4. This piece is written at a speed of 140 bpm, a bit faster than how it started. Playing in an orchestra introduced me to the structure of a piece, and I tried to apply that to this. When I was choosing the piece to submit, this one stood out because of its lively beat and catchy theme.
I want to explore the texture of the piano quartet through a piece that sounds like a conversation. This rough draft of the opening measures is currently on piano, but I would like the instrumentation to evolve to a piano quartet, including violin, viola, and cello.
