Description

We are writing this for Opus 36.  This is our first time composing for Music-COMP.  We are writing for piano and violin.  We are not very happy with what we wrote.  We would like suggestion on how to improve please.  It sounds like someone is getting chased.  We would like it to sound peaceful and not crime.

Thank you,

Auden, Caroline, and Angel

Moon Before Sun

Composer Name
Emery
Description

I'm writing this piece for OPUS. I started by picking tracks in Sound Trap and then putting them into Noteflight. I named it Moon Before Sun because I wanted to think about like a time laps video starting at night then continuing through the morning, and the perfect audio to go with it. If there is something you think I could substitute for the synth that's my own. I would love the advice.

Emery.

I'll Name This Later

Composer Name
Orson Bush
Description

Hello! This is My Noteflight song. I kind of just went with the flow on this one, but I worked pretty hard on it. When I started this piece, i didn't really have a name, as you can see now, so i just called it: I Will Name This Later. Fun Fact; I did NOT rename it later! This piece is set in a key of G. It is actually my first piece, so hopefully you like it. Now, enjoy the Show!!!

Tree House

Composer Name
Vii Tenace
Description

I wanted to write a piece of music about a calm tree house that I live by. I was inspired by the wind gently blowing, birds chirping, wood creaking, and the sounds of people around me. I used the bassoon, clarinet, and the flute. I learned so much more about music and about how to make it by participating in Music-COMP. It is really fun creating music and being around other people who are music creators too like my mentor and teacher.

The Way Things Are

Composer Name
Will Buntain and Asa Jorgenson
Description

This for piece is for piano and we are thinking adding a the violin and oboe. We are trying create a dynamic piece using high's and low's. We are trying to follow the ABABC(bridge)BB. The last B we would like to be louder.

Alligator Life

Composer Name
John Wallace
Description

This piece is a bluesy-rag combination that to me sounds like a swamp. But not your everyday swamp. It's cleaner than most, where the Alligator (and crocodile) thrives. Through the misty haze of the cyprus trees, the Alligator goes on about his day, hunting down prey and scaring off invaders and other animals. The piece is written for piano, viola, and cello and is extremely jazzy.

Seasons

Description

This is a short song about the four seasons and the fun things about them. I wrote this using piano and hand written notes. I have not put it into notation.
