Electronic Music Showcase (walk through the park)

Composer Name
Luc Slothouwer
Description

Hi, I'd like to use this as my piece for the electronic music showcase. I would really recommend that the upper limit for the file size gets improved, almost no song created on any DAW besides basic notation software will produce files that small. I had to compress my song 3 times to get it under 5mb, which of course affects the audio quality.

Giant Steps (Arrangement)

Composer Name
Jonathan
Description

I was inspired to write this arrangement of Giant Steps by John Coltrane because of a recording I heard by Michael Mayo, an American singer and composer. His creativity and exploration of Giant Steps inspired me to arrange this challenging tune by Coltrane, an icon in Jazz. My arrangement focuses on layering in different instruments (like Mayo does when he sings) and moving away from the more common jazz sound. I hope you enjoy it!

Chicken Feet and A Head Named Bob

Composer Name
Gigi Guerin
Description

'Chicken Feet and A Head Named Bob' is my first composition, and I'm incredibly proud of the progress I've made with it, as well as grateful for the help I've gotten from Andy. When I first started the piece, I had no inspiration or real ideas, and it looked completely different than it does now. I can now say that it's not inspired by any particular feeling or experience, and is instead a collection of sounds that to me, tells a story of a journey. It's a little awkward, and klunky, and off-balance, but it's going somewhere, even if it doesn't intend to. It's also a reminder to me that wherever I go, I will take what I've lived with me.

The piece is finished except for a couple things - I'm having a lot of trouble finding the key, so I need to do that, and I also would like to change some of the lyrics. I plan to keep working on this, and trying to make it better.
