Samurai River

Description

I originally wrote his song for a Clarinet and Violin, and it made me think of a flowing river, silent and elegant. I then had to change the instruments to comply with the guidelines; I played around with all of the instruments and found that the combo of two instruments I liked the most was a Trumpet and French Horn. I no longer think of a silent river, but now more of a samurai song, of a training session (as if the music was in the background a scene in a movie). I think that adding a percussion instrument would sound good, just to make the music sound better and give more personality.
