My goal for this composition is to create a three movement saxophone duet inspired by Pedro Iturralde and his work. The specific pieces that inspire me are Memorias for Soprano Saxophone and Piano, Suite Hellenique for Saxophone Quartet, and Pequena Czarda for Alto Saxophoe duet and piano. I would like to create three movements that are different from each other. A lyrical movement, a fast and playful movement, and a relaxed and jazzy movement.
