Opus 1 - Burlington and Tuttle Middle Schools and UVM

Opus 1 - A collaboration between Burlington Middle Schools, Tuttle Middle School and the UVM Music Department. 

Students from Burlington's Edmunds Middle School and Lyman C. Hunt Middle School, along with students from Frederick H. Tuttle, South Burlington teamed up with music education students at UVM for their own regional Opus concert. On December 11th, eleven new pieces were premiered in the Southwick Ballroom at UVM.

The teachers, mentors and performers include Graham lambert, Michael Hakim, Karola Troidl, Zoe Harris, Rachael Haar, Cadie Fowler, Ashleigh Simpson, Sami Schwaeber, Brad Ohlson, Meg McCormack, Danielle Henry, Mei Endo, A.J. Banach, James Carlson, Betsy Greene, Patti Riley and Matt LaRocca

Opus 29 concert

Opus 29 featuring 23 new works created by students in grades 3-12 from 21 different schools in Vermont, Virginia, and Pennsylvania was a delightful event. Students gathered together on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Elley-Long Music Center at St. Michael's College in Colchester for rehearsals beginning at noon and concurrent workshops. The concert at 6:30 pm was a rousing success. Watch the Opus 29 page under Performances for the posting of all audio recordings soon.
