Music-COMP members includes public and private schools from Vermont, Virginia and Indiana. New schools are welcome from any location. Music-COMP membership also includes several music education organizations who encourage their students to compose and engage in online mentoring of their work.
Public and private schools, music organizations, and individual independent students may join Music-COMP. Public and private schools or music organizations pay a basic membership fee and then select various benefits including online mentoring, live performances of student work, reduced prices on several software products, and technical support and consultation. Independent Study students join and pay a per-composition fee for online mentoring. Additional fees apply for any work selected for live performance at our semi-annual Opus event which feature professional musicians play multiple student works.
