The Weather Outside

Gracie Bangoura

"The Weather Outside is a string quartet piece that shows the changes of weather. There are several places in my piece that gradually get louder, softer, slower and faster. The weather outside mostly will sound like it is raining.  This piece connects to Vermont because of course weather! In this piece I decided to do something different instead of having one boring part and a completely awesome one, I decided to give each instrument equal playing parts. There are so many emotions throughout the piece, from sad to angry and even happy. You can find those emotions while listening to the piece. Enjoy!"
